Capsicum Large, Mixed Colours
Sometimes called bell peppers or capsicums, these sweet, mild peppers come in variety of colours, and are related to chillies. Whatever colour they are, they’re all essentially the same variety, but have been allowed to ripen to different degrees; green are the youngest and sharpest, followed by yellow, orange and then red, which are the sweetest.
Store capsicums in plastic bags and they will keep up to five days in a fridge. The green ones will keep slightly longer than the other, more ripe, varieties. They should not be stored near ethylene-producing foods such as pears or apples! Also suitable for home freezing.
A great addition for salads, grilling, stuffed and of course perfect for snacking!
