We caught up with Doyne Wilson, the Founder of Earth to Earth, whose passion for a better world powered his business of sustainable products for the everyman. Read on for insights and inspiration on what he’s been up to, and the ebbs and flows of what difference we can make in this world.

On the trip to the Maldives with his family earlier this year, Doyne and his daughter were swimming when his daughter found a toothbrush on the ocean bed. It was disheartening and served as cold shock of reality for Doyne on what kind of world were we leaving the next generation.

Their family has avoided using plastic items, bags, cutlery, crockery, and glassware since that day, choosing for the more sustainable lifestyle. Doyne began Earth to Earth as a result of a realisation that it is never too late to start.

Doyne was also inspired by whales – inspiring creatures that help determine the temperature of the planet – and it’s something that we’ve only recently started to appreciate. It’s the idea that each person can play a big part in our planet with every small act. This why Juro, the whale is Earth to Earth’s mascot.

Earth to Earth was started on a simple notion to provide Affordable Sustainable Living. People need a choice and most products that are available in the market are either expensive or not ethically sourced even though they claim to be so.

‘’What the market needs are products that are built from earth and goes back into earth with minimum to no damage to the environment from Coconut, Jute, Bamboo, Clay, Iron and Handmade. to support local artisans.’’
