How do I add to my basket?

To add items to your basket simply click on the arrows next to the qty box to increase or decrease the quantity, then click on the “add” button. If you are not already registered with Ripe you can do this as you proceed to the checkout, or you can select the “login” button on the top right corner of the page.

How do I amend my order?

You can amend your order by calling us on 043807602 to speak to one of our team in the Ripe office.

Do I have to order every week?

No. You can set up a regular order or order each week.

How often can I change my order?

As often as you like! Just give us a call on 043807602 or email us at orders@ripeme.com.

What is the latest I can change my order?

You can change you order up until the day before your delivery.

Can I pause a regular order?

What are organic veg boxes?

Local organic vegetable boxes are at the core of what we do. Each week we put together the best of what’s in season and pack it into boxes for you, so you get a varied, fresh, seasonal diet delivered to your door. Each week you can choose from a range of boxes to suit your household, or make up your order by picking individual items and adding them to your basket. It can take a few weeks to get used to life with a box, but customers generally find they cook more, eat more healthily and feel more of a connection with where their food comes from.

Where does the produce come from? Is everything you sell organic?

All of the produce we sell is certified organic. Ripe supports a range of local and regional farmers to get the freshest most delicious produce to our customers.

How long will the vegetables stay fresh?

This varies between products and how it has been packaged. Each week we advise you on the best way to store the vegetables to ensure the maximum nutrients are stored and the vegetables are kept fresh for as long as possible.

Will the contents of each box change weekly?

Yes, the contents in each box will vary from week to week depending what is in season. On the order page, and before you place an order, you can view the contents of the box each week.

Should I wash my vegetables?

We do not wash the vegetables as it can damage them, reducing shelf life, nutritional content and flavour. Washing is best done as close to eating as possible so we leave this job to you.

What size box is best for me?

Small boxes are generally enough for two adults per week and a large box is enough for a family of 2 adults and 2-3 children.

Can I choose my own box contents? If I don’t like something can I swap it for something else?

Our boxes have fixed contents each week. The reason we chose this, is so that we can get our produce to you as quickly as possible. This will give you fresher veg and enable us to keep our prices low, so as many people as possible can afford organic vegetables. It also helps us to minimise waste as we can use everything we grow. Most importantly, it means we can keep our commitment to the farmers who help us make the boxes varied and interesting. We offer a variety of boxes so you can swap between boxes to suit you.
